There are moments in a rugby club’s life that are too big and meaningful to be captured in a single match report or story. They live in the spaces between the action, on the sidelines, in the clubhouse, on quiet mornings at the park, and in the shared laughter at club events. Clayton RFC: 2025 Our Year in Pictures is a celebration of those moments and the people who make them possible.
This past year reminded us, once again, that Clayton RFC is more than just a club, it is a community. From match days filled with grit and heart, to youth rugby sessions buzzing with energy, to social events that bring families together, old friends, and new faces, every image in this video tells a piece of our story. It is a story built on effort, resilience, and an unwavering belief in the power of grassroots rugby.
Our players and members wore the black and gold with pride, pushing themselves and each other in training and on the pitch. Our coaches and admins worked tirelessly behind the scenes, often unseen, ensuring that each weekend ran smoothly. Our volunteers were constantly improving our home, setting up fields, cooking food, running events, and lending a hand wherever needed. They, once again, proved that the heart of this club beats the strongest through service.
We are equally grateful to our fans, families, and supporters who showed up week after week, rain or shine, to cheer, encourage, and stand alongside us. Your presence turns matches into memories and reinforces why this club matters so deeply to so many. To our sponsors and partners, your support allows us to grow, invest in our facilities, expand youth rugby, and continue building something that will last for generations.
As you watch Our Year in Pictures, we hope you see yourself in it, whether in a smile on the touchline, in a jersey, a shared toast, or a quiet moment at Johnston County Rugby Park. This video is our thank you. Thank you for your time, your energy, your belief, and your commitment to Clayton RFC.
Here’s to 2025, to the people who made it special, and to the many chapters still to come—together, as one club, one community.
The Clayton RFC would like to give a special thanks to everyone that took and shared photos this past year. We love seeing everyone’s photos after each match or club event. A special mention goes to Jennifer Culkin and Cam Walters who have given their time this past year taking photos at our men’s matches.
