The Clayton RFC participates in the Carolinas Geographic Rugby Union. Our Men’s 1st XV currently plays in Division IV and our Old Boys team plays social matches and tournaments throughout the year. We are also working on the return of our 2nd XV that plays games as numbers allow.
We also field a Men’s 7s side that goes to 3-4 tournaments each summer. During the summer we also host weekly open touch rugby sessions on Saturday mornings.
Our Women’s side is newly developed and has just started practicing alongside our men. They are preparing to compete at 7s tournaments this coming summer.
We practice every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:30-8:00pm at our home facility, the Johnston County Rugby Park.

Practices are open to anyone that is interested in giving rugby a try. No experience is necessary. Interested players are encouraged to come out and give it a try before making a commitment.
