SCHEDULE

The Clayton RFC participates in the Carolinas Geographic Rugby Union.

We currently field three adult level squads:
  • Our Men’s 1st XV is our competitive squad that plays in the Carolinas Union league.
  • Our Men’s 2nd XV is for new and/or developing players and any of our Old Boys who still want more regular playing time. That squad plays social matches against other similar sides.
  • Our Old Boys side is for players aged 35 and over. They play 2-3 social matches per year against other Old Boys teams.
  • Our Men’s 7s side goes to 3-4 tournaments each summer.

We also host open touch rugby sessions on Saturday mornings throughout the year.

Our Women’s side is newly developed and we’re still working on building numbers.

We practice every Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:30-8:00pm at our home facility, the Johnston County Rugby Park.

Practices are open to anyone that is interested in giving rugby a try. No experience is necessary. Interested players are encouraged to come out and give it a try before making a commitment.
