Scrum’n Scramble Fundraiser

The Scrum’n Scramble Golf fundraiser is an annual event to help raise funds for ongoing improvements at the Johnston County Rugby Park. 

Planning has already begun on the 2026 Scrum’n Scramble. Stay tuned here for details.

Each participant gets:

  • 10am shotgun start
  • 1 mulligan per team (additional mulligans may be purchased)
  • 1 red tee buster
  • Longest Drive
  • Closest to pin
  • Green fees included
  • Cart included
  • Event polo
  • Lunch
  • Goody bag
  • Trophy for the winning team

Other prizes will be available to win throughout the event

Proceeds from the fundraiser go to the Johnston County Rugby Park project. The first public rugby-specific park in North Carolina! 

Hole Sponsors

Local businesses looking to get involved with our Golf Fundraiser can sponsor a hole. The hole sponsorships are $150 (we’ll have an 18″ x 24″ sign made for you).

Each hole sponsor will receive:

  • Sponsor signage placed at their hole. The sponsor may provide the signage or we can take care of getting the sign for you!
  • Ability to supply item(s) (business card, promo item, etc.) to go in the goody bags that will be distributed to all players
  • Mention as a tournament sponsor on Clayton RFC social media
