Hardy founded the Clayton Rugby Football Club in November of 2013 and has served as the club’s President since that time. During that time the club has gone from a social club that could barely field a team to a club that has 60+ playing members, multiple teams, and a growing group of social members.
Ted was also instrumental in securing the land to build the Johnston County Rugby Park. He has been heavily involved in the fundraising, design, and construction process for the park.
Prior to moving to Clayton, Ted was involved as a player and board member with the Akron RFC in Ohio. He has also served on the Carolinas Rugby Union board of directors including as President during the 2018/2019 playing cycle.
